Resposible Travel Nepal

Adventure Treks Nepal
Contributes USD 5 earned from every pax  booked  to run its ‘responsible-travel’ related projects.

Adventure Treks Nepal is well aware of its social responsibilities and has sponsored a number of projects to meet this obligation. We have identified a list of specific and worthwhile community projects for rural people in the areas of education and community support programs having both immediate and long term benefits.

Responsible TravelShree Durga Bhagwati Primary School Project, Taksar Khalanga, Syangja: Taksar, a tiny village located 256 Km west of Kathmandu, has a Primary school whose building was in a dilapidated condition. It had a leaky roof and was in desperate need of more furniture. This village is relatively isolated and predominantly inhabited by the Gurung/Cheetri and Braman etc.ethnic Groups. We have sponsored this school as a part of our philanthropy program and have provided new furniture and necessary stationery material. We have also refurbished the class rooms and constructed a new building (01 Room) as well as some toilets.

Responsible TravelClean Drinking Water Supply Project: Taksar village, lacking in clean drinking water supply due to the water sources very far away from the Village. Untimely rains and lack of funds with the local village development committees had further aggravated the problem as a result of which, the locals as well as private and public organizations were facing a lot of problems. As a step towards resolving the water crisis,   We have sponsored supply of clean drinking water to local primary school as well as the Taksar Village.

Responsible TravelTeacher Support Project: Adventure Treks Nepal has supported a skilled teacher forShree Durga Bhagwati Primary School at Tanksar Khalnaga  village development committee. ( Sponsored by Eric Lee USA & Richard Mortimer Mr, (UK).

Home Stay ProjectHome Stay Project: As Taksar Village is off the Beaten Path Trekking route. So we have a project to develop home stay program for visitors (Trekkers). The project starts with couple of low-income households of these rural areas by giving them the training and materials they need to start and run their own bed & breakfast businesses.

Under the home stay project, we need to give them the suitable. We hope fully after this project unemployment will be decreased in these area.
