EVEREST REGION: Everest Region, the famed World Heritage Site, connotations of great challenge and achievements, has been one of the most popular destinations for both trekkers and climbers since 1950s. Being the home of the renowned and cheerful Sherpa mountaineers and an outpost of Tibetan Buddhism with many fascinating ornate monasteries; this area boasts some of the world's most fantastic high mountain sceneries on earth including 4 of the world's 10 highest peaks: Everest, Makalu, Lhotse and Cho Oyu with most beautiful mountain Amadablam and many more others hover in the sky.
EVEREST BASE CAMP: Our Everest Base camptrek is designed to fulfill the dream of many trekkers to experience the historic route to the base of the worlds highest mountain. Our carefully devised itinerary provides a fine opportunity to visit both Base Camp and the nearby peak of Kala Pattar (5545m) where uninterrupted views of Everest are gained. We trek the more remote trails along the far side of the Khumbu valley, savouring the high mountain views from our selected campsites in the company of our Sherpa guides, whose knowledge and passion for trekking in the Khumbu add a further dimension to this memorable trek.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU: [1,338 m]. : Upon your arrival our Airport Representative will meet you at airport and transfer to the hotel where pre-trek briefing and other information will be given. Arrangements are made today for the distribution of your kit bag. Remainder of the afternoon is free. For your kind information, your group leader / guide will be happy to assist you in any way he/she can and will meet you every day while you are in Katmandu to help you with any queries. DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING TOUR IN KATHMANDU [1,338 m]. : After Breakfast at Hotel we have a sightseeing tour. We explore Kathmandu-valley, which has more World Heritage sites than any other city in the world. This capital city has an amazing range of traditional fascinating highlights. After the guided tour, afternoon is free to pack, purchase last minutes items for your trek or simply relax at Hotel. O/nt. in kathmandu. (Hotel *****) "B"
Pashupatinath: One of the most sacred of all Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. it is situated on the Bagmati River, where cremation Ghats are. That place will give you an insight into one of the world's gretest religions. Many peoples from different part of Asia visit Pashupatinath temple, During the festival Shiva Ratri, there is a vast crowed from many parts of Asia as this festival is the biggest festival of worshipping lord Shiva.
Boudhanath: Possibly the largest Stupa. Is a site of a great veneration for Himalayan Buddhism. Being on the old Tibet Nepal trading route and many Tibetans living around the area has developed many monasteries of the different scats of Tibetan Buddhism. Walking around the Stupa will give you a little glimpse of Tibet.
DAY 03: MOUNTAIN FLIGHT TO LUKLA (2,810 M) TREK TO PHAKDAING [2,640 m]. : After breakfast in the Hotel Early in the morning, we transfer you to the domestic airport, head towards the STOL airport for 45 minutes thrilling mountain flight to the airstrip at Lukla which was built by Sir Edmund Hillary and his friend, when he started his social work of building schools and hospitals for the local Sherpa people. At Lukla, the first glimpse of all huge mountains are quite impressive which surround the very village, but be patience, it is just starting, there are lots more to come on your way. From Lukla, we trek downhill towards the Dudh Koshi (milky river), a raging river that flows from the highest mountains. The trail is fairly easy and well-marked, menders around the fields of potatoes and wheat. We will pass through many traditional villages to reach to the vicinity of Phakding for our first over night.
Today, we will see "Mani Wall" which is a compilation of many stone tablets, each with the Buddhist chanting inscriptions, "Om Mani Padme Hum " which means, " Hail to the jewel into lotus". Please respect the local tradition as the local people walking left to these Mani Walls. O/N in Lodge. (Trekking: approx 3 hours). "B,L,D"
DAY 04: TREK TO NAMCHE BAZAAR [3,440 m]. : After Breakfast at Tea House we start our trek passing through the pine forest and terraces, we cross and re-cross the thundering glacial river ' Dudh Koshi '. We will see groups of yaks and dzypkyos carrying the trek-gears and trading goods along the trail. Spectacular mountain peaks like Nupla (5885m) Kongde Ri (6093 m), Thamserku (6808m) rises majestically above us.
Today's section of trek we walk slowly enjoying every steps of the way. Today, we enter into the Sagarmatha National Park, another World Heritage site. We walk along the river to the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi and cross a spectacular high bridge before commencing ascent to the village of Namche Bazaar, a gateway to the Everest. As we ascent passing through pine forest of rhododendron and magnolia, we will sight our first view of the majestic Mt. Everest from a vantage point. O/N in Lodge. (Trekking: approx 5-6 hours). DAY 05: REST DAY AT NAMCHE [3,440 m]: We will spend a day in Namche Bazaar, resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatised to the altitude of 3,450m. In the morning, there is the option of walking up to the Everest View Hotel (3,900mt), returning to Namche for lunch.O/N in Lodge. "B,L,D"
DAY 06: TREK TO TYANGBOCHE: [3,860 m].): After having easy day at Namche (The Sherpa Capital) we have a breakfast at Hotel then we Leave to Tyangboche, the trail meanders - around the ridges and spectacular views Ama Dablam, Everest can be clearly seen on the horizon before we descend through splendid rhododendron forests for lunch. After lunch we cross Dudh Koshi River and begin to ascent until it finishes at a small flat land which has a famous Buddhist monastery called Thyangboche. This monastry was recently re-built with the assistance of Sir Edmund Hillary after it was destroyed by fire in 1989AD. We will have spectacular views of the Massif Everest, beautiful mountain Ama Dablam and many more, besides that if you are lucky enough you will see the glowing colour of the sunset and perhaps even the picturesque moonlight on the mountains all around us. As this area is a devout Buddhist region, the wild life is unharmed so there is possibility that we may see some wild animals such as musk deer, mountain goat and Pheasants etc in the forest. TYANGBOCHE MONASTERY: Tyangboche monastery, the spiritual and cultural center of these highlanders was built in 1912. AD as an isolated meditation retreats. From the monastery the early morning mountain views are stunning. Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse are at the top of the Khumbhu valley, their line of sight flanked by Tawatse on one and Ama Dablam on the other side. Almost directly above us are Kantega and Thamserku stand majestically. Holy Mountain Khumbila and Kangde Ri add the beauty to make a panoramic circle of mountains.
DAY 07: TREK TO DINGBOCHE [4,440 m]. The trail now descends up to Imja Khola leaving Khumbu mountains as a backdrop before an easy climb along a wide-open trail to the small mountain village named Pangboche (3901m). We may take a slight detour to visit the oldest monastry. Then as we head gradual up hill to Dingboche, situated just beneath the very peak Ama Dablan, looking up at the impressive peak Ama Dablam on the opposite side. The trail passes through the valley surrounded by glistering mountains all around. O/N in Lodge. (Trekking: approx 4-5 hours). "B,L,D"
DAY 08: REST AT DINGBOCHE [4,440 m].: It is an important rest day for acclimatization before we go at higher altitudes with the option of hiking high up to the ridge overlooking the village or up to the Chhukung Village, you may spend the day exploring or relaxing and enjoying the unforgettable mountain scenery. DAY 09: TREK TO LOBUCHE: [4,955 m]. As we are gaining altitude, it is important to walk slowly and steady. Walking on barren slopes above the tree line we will see different peaks such as Cholatse, Lobuche and Pumari unfold us in this contrasting and spectacular landscape. Rock Cairns can be seen dedicated to the memory of climbers attempting the high mountains at Dugla Ridge. Walking up onto marine of Khumbu Glacier (the longest glacier in Nepal) to Lobuche for the overnight, one can feel the temperature drops here as we are more exposed with our camp situated along this glacier marine. DAY 10: TREK TO GORAKCHEP [5,180 m]. Today, we are high among the glaciers of the world's highest peaks to trek along side the Khumbu Glacier, as the trail menders over the rocky marine towards the high settlement of seasonal spectacular village called Gorak Shep (Where we have a Lunch) (we check in the Lodge). After lunch we are Walking along the same rocky marine we head towards the famed Everest Base Camp to leave our footprint over there. Later on, we descend back to Gorak Shep for over night stay. This spectacular village is surround by Pumari (7145m), Lingtren (6697m), Nuptse (7745m) and of course Everest (8848m). As the sun sets it becomes very cold though the sun is strong in daytime. DAY 11: TREK TO KALAPATTAR AND BACK TO PHERICHE [4,252 m]. As we have stayed overnight at Gorak Shep. We get up an early morning then we start for the unblocked best view in the world to the massif, most famed Everest. After making historic steps on Everest Base Camp and Kalapattar, we will descend down to the medical center for highlander's village called Pheriche. O/N in Lodge. DAY 12: TREK TO NAMCHE [3,440 m]. After breakfast at Our Hotel in Tea House. Today (Now) We walk back to Namche. watching Thangboche monastery and Ama Dablam on the opposite side. Finally we arrive Nyamche the Sherpa Capital. O/N in Lodge. (Trekking: approx 3-4 hours). "B,L,D"
DAY 13: TREK TO LUKLA [2,810 m]. We retrace our steps along the same Dudh Koshi. It is a beautiful and easy walk through pine and rhododendron forest with a view of Kusum Kanguru and other splendid mountains behind us before a gradual climb out of the river valley to the trek starting point Lukla to savour our final mountain sunset of the trek as we complete this exhilarating journey. DAY 14: FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU [1,338 m].: This morning, we have a Himalayan flight from Lukla to Kathmandu; it is a thrilling exciting flight over forests, fields and villages with the Himalayas at the background. On arrival, we transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. O/N in Hotel *****. (Trekking: approx 3 hours). "B"
DAY 15: IN KATHMANDU (FREE DAY) [1,338 m].: There are lots of interesting thing to see in Kathmandu valley: the Old Palaces at patan, kathmandu, Bhaktapur Durbar squares, Swayambhunath (the monkey temple), Or you may explore down town to shop for souvenirs, getting your photos or slides processed and trying out the various restaurants in Kathmandu. DAY 16: DEPARTURE/TRIP CONCLUDES: It is time to fly back to home keeping all the exhilarating experiences of Nepal in mind. Please make sure that you have collected all valuable from Adventure Treks Nepal (P) Ltd. Or (Your Hotel) If you have deposited anything with, Those people traveling by aircraft to further destination will be transferred to the airport and assisted with check in procedures. Trip ends !
