The Everest (Solukhumbu) region of Nepal is amongst the most dramatic and picturesque regions in the Himalayas. The Everest region is home for the Sherpa people who live in the shades of Mt. Throughout this trek trekkers are overwhelmed with views of unbelievable peaks, Buddhist monasteries and friendly Sherpa villages. The first national park of Nepal, Sagarmatha National Park is the major attraction of this region which bestows an encounter of exclusive flora and fauna. DearClients: We would like to inform you that all the flights to Lukla have been transferredto take off from Ramechap, Manthali instead of Kathmandu again from october 12022 onward for spring and autumn because of air traffic in Kathmandu airport.So, you have to drive for around 4-5 hours from Kathmandu to be in Ramechap. Sowe have to drive to Ramechap very early in the morning to catch the flight toLukla. (Oct/Nov and Mar/Apr).
In case the flight is cancelled we have to spend the night in Ramechapwith very basic accommodation and food. Because Ramechap is still not thattouristy.
