Renjo pass trekking is an awe inspiring trek that lets you explore and discover the absorbing Everest Region. The Renjo Pass trail moves through the peaceful environment of Khumbu region allowing you to experience various sceneries changing into pastures, ridges, narrow clefts and steep climbing trail. The most desirable time for this unforgettable trek is at the tail end of the monsoon season, when flowers blooming throughout Nagpala give trekkers the illusion of walking across a textured, riotously colorful carpet. We go off the beaten path for 3 days, and it is worth every minute, where you experience authentic Sherpa Culture, relatively untouched by the hustle of tourism in the main circuit. The highlight of the trek is crossing the Renjo La Pass (5,360m) from where we witness the best view of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Makalu (8,463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m), Nuptse (7,855m), Mt. Pumori (7,145m), Mt. Amadablam (6,856m), Mt. Thamserku and many other dazzling mountain peaks.
After your arrival in Nepal, we fly to Lukla, initial point of Renjo Pass trekking trail.
We take a 45 min thrilling mountain flight to Lukla and set on a trail to Namchhe Bazzar walking through the pine and rhododendron forests, crossing suspension bridge over the angry Dudh Koshi River and walk around the terraced potatoes and wheat field along the Phakding Village. The trek continues towards Thame climbing steeply out of natural depression through bush forests, juniper and huge conifers and reaches Lungden. We then trek towards the famous Gokyo Lake crossing over the mighty Renjo La Pass. Ascending to Gokyo Ri, we return our footsteps to Phortse Tenga. After reaching the Chorten at the rim we stop for the views of Mount Cho Oyu, Kangetega, Thamserku and others. The route passes through the settlement s of Phang (4480m), Machhermo (4410m), Luza (4360m), Lopharma (4330m), Dole (4084m), Gyele (3960m), Tongba (3950m) & Phortse Tenga (3400m). We return back to Lukla on the same path through Namche Bazzar and Phakding. Renjo La Pass Trekking ends in Lukla from where we return back to Kathmandu.
