Being the 9th highest altitude wetland in the world, Panch Pokhari Trekking is an easy trek in the Sindhupalchowk District of Nepal that takes you the group of 5 sacred ponds. During Panch Pokhari trek you will have outstanding view of Gauri Shanker, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Himalayan range, Rolwaling Himalayan range and many more. The name Panch Pokhari refers to these 5 holy ponds (Panch- Five Pokhari-ponds). As Panch Pokhari trekking is open for the tourists Adventure Treks Nepal is offering our clients the opportunity to experience the trekking in this less crowded destination with magnificent display of traditional way of living.
Panch Pokhari trekking trail follows a ridge mostly during the trek resulting in constant rise in altitude over a quick period of time. Walking through the Rhododendron forests passing waterfalls we climb onto Narsim Pati via Sano Okhreni and Kami Kharkha. Trekking for 5 days through the paddy fields we pass through the beautiful settlements inhabited by Sherpa community we return back down towards Melamchi Bazzar via Dhap. From Melamchi Bazzar we drive back to Kathmandu.
