Comments: EVEREST REGION TREK & CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK…
We recently returned from 28 days of trekking in the Everest region and experiencing the sights and sounds of Chitwan National Park with Adventure Treks Nepal. It was an unforgettable experience. From the start of the planning process and throughout the visit Mr. Gyan, managing partner, answered our questions and concerns and supplied timely advice. Guide Lalit and porter Debendra supported us the entire trek and were instrumental in its successful completion.

Upon completing our trek we traveled to Chitwan National Park. Once again, Adventure Treks Nepal was there for us. Jungle hikes, dugout canoe trip, elephant safari and elephant breeding center tour were several of the highlights during our stay in Chitwan.

There is no doubt Mr. Gyan and the staff at Adventure Treks will be at the top of the list when we begin our next adventure in Nepal. The small group focus providing freedom and the ability to interact would be hard to beat in groups larger. We highly recommend a trip organized through ATN to folks planning to visit Nepal.

Comments: "5 day family trek to Ghorepani/Poon Hill"

Amazing adventure!! For those of you researching trekking companies, you can stop and just book with AT Nepal. I did hours of research and have now done two treks with this company and it doesn't get any better. Gyanendra led a fantastic team for us, a family of 5 up to Ghorepani. He knows these mountains so well. We made some on the fly changes based on our speed and he offered many options and his recommendations. Each time the changes worked out perfect. I think the Ghorepani trek and up Poon Hill for 5 days was perfect for my family. The price is also much less (even 1/2 the price of some companies). We had the most professional porters who also felt comfortable around us when we invited them to hang out. No doubt that I will be back in a few years - and I don't need to spend time researching another company, AV Nepal is the best.

"Outstanding trek in Nepal"

Comments: I was with a group of 13 men and women, ages 57 - 72 yrs. We had a 13 days of an outstanding trek! We were taken care of with the best conditions possible on the way, with the best of guides - Gyanendra karki. He and his team are most reliable, thorough, highly experienced and warm-hearted.

The trek was highly successful from all aspects - preparation and advice before arriving, plan and pace of walking, food, lodging, excellent leadership.

I recommended an extra half-day to visit Bhaktapur, which wasn't included originally.

Our guide was Gyan Karki who was Excellent and took care of all our requests.
Karki has a lot of knowledge about Nepal and patience for older people.
All his porters were very nice, good and polite. "Shos"

Review of: Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

12 days with Karki and his men were an adventure I won't forget!
Everything was taken care of - from arrival at Kathmandu, flight to Pokhara and trekk
via Ghandruk, Poonhill and Jomsom.
Mr Karki has this sensibility of getting to know our needs and likings and he managed to adapt and satisfy

a groop of 14 people, hikers average age - 64.

My husband and I chose this company for both the Everest Base Camp trek via Gokyo Ri, and the Annapurna circuit via Tilcho lake. So pleased with our choice! Gyan, the owner of Adventure Treks, was so efficient with organising our perfect trip. He replied to our various email enquiries immediately and really helped us in our planning. What we really liked about Gyan was his flexibility, ensuring we could walk exactly where we wanted to go, on our own frame. This is unlike many of the companies which have very rigid itineraries. Gyan greeted us at the airport on our arrival to Kathmandu and checked in before and after each hike to make sure we were happy customers, and we totally were!! We were so impressed with our guide Sangam- not only was he friendly, and superbly knowledgable about the mountains and areas we were trekking, but also extremely safety conscious. We felt very safe in his hands on what is a potentially dangerous trek. Accomodation provided before and after the treks was clean and very comfortable. Adventure treks is superb value for money. We researched multiple companies prior to booking and Gyan came up on top. All in all our time in Nepal was perfect from start to finish. Thank you Adventure Treks for the trip of a lifetime :)

Comments: "A truly unforgettable experience. I want to go back !"

We enjoyed the 5 day Poon Hill round trip and were lucky enough to have Ramesh as our guide and Krishna as our porter. It was clear that Ramesh really knew his routes very well and this put me at great ease knowing that we were being guided by someone with an in-depth knowledge of the area. It turns out that he also has a terrific sense of humour! Which he probably needed to have to endure our occasional moments of tiredness. It also turns out he is as strong as an ox. Apparently he only wears hiking boots for trips of 10 days or more. So he turned up very relaxed in his trainers. But he is a machine, us mortals need boots, so take them. I think that for people accustomed to hiking, and who consider themselves fit, 5 days is just right. With a little bit more effort we 'possibly' could have done it in 4 days. For those a little less accustomed to hiking or maybe with teenage children, they should consider making it 6 days. Krishna, our porter, who of course is laboured with carrying our kit, was a wonderful man, remarkably strong and a bit of an ace at cards! Thank you both for your hospitality! All in all, I could not recommend it enough. Truth be told, I was a bit sad to come back to urban life. The 5 days up there with great company was truly a time that I will never forget.

Comments: We had wonderful trek organised by Adventure Treks Nepal in the short time we had to explore the area. The quality of accommodation and food exceeded our expectations. The expertise & professionalism of our guide, Sangam was excellent and make our trip the memorable experience it was. We would not hesitate to recommend Adventure Treks Nepal for any Nepal traveller and we obsoletely use provision in our future Nepal trips.
