Comments: Everything was organised perfectly by the Adventure Treks Nepal, unfortunately for us the weather was against us and we got snowed in. Ramesh our guide was fabulous as was our porter Pradig.

We will be back to trek in Nepal again and we will ask Gyan at Adventure Trek Nepal to help us again.

Comments: Having recently returned from a 9 month trip across Asia and Africa, top of the to do list on getting home was writing a review for Gyan and his wonderful team at Adventure Treks Nepal. My wife and I had a wonderful experience trekking with Khim, an extremely knowledgable and entertaining guide and Pemba, a very kind and strong porter! From planning our Annapurna Circuit Trek with Gyan over email (only a week before we started) to being met by him at our hotel, being driven to the start of our trek and saying goodbye to Khim and Pemba in Pokhara everything ran incredibly smoothly and we had an amazing time. I can thoroughly recommend this company to help organise and plan your trek, they are experienced, great at communicating and very reasonably priced. We will back one day!

It was our first trek in Nepal and it was really great ! Our guide was really professionnal, friendly and full of answers to our many questions. He always tried to find the best options for us and usually succeed ! He and the porter were always smiling and willing to help.

When preparing our trip, the agency was really quick to answer our e-mails and it was easy to arrange everything before flying to Katmandou.

If we come back to Nepal, we will definitly trek with that agency again !

Why this is the best travel agency I've ever experienced:

I've done 18 days trek to EBC and Gokyo Ri in March with my brother.

1. For the first moment Gyan planned everything, solved all my questions and did all so easy.
2. Any bad surprise during my trip, just well done work.
3. When you are in the mountains you want an experienced guide who can solve any possible problem, and ours: Lalit (who I strongly recommend to ask to go with him) had 25 years of it and was the most respected by all the others guides, always smiling and taking care of all yours need.
4. Also the porter was really kind and a happy person, the same as the driver in Kathmandu who make us feel safe in that crazy roads. Gyanendra, our guide of Kathmandu took us to all the mains points of the city in two days and we enjoy it a lot.
5. Gyan was looking for our needs and planning what we would like to do after the trek in Nepal, such a good person and with a great team!!!
6. I did lot of research from home of many many trekking companies and thats the one I choose, so if you want to save time, money and have the perfect trip don't hesitate to contact Gyan.

Our family has always traveled independently, but for our trip to Nepal, I made the decision to leave the ground arrangements to Adventure Treks Nepal... And in hindsight, we couldn't have managed otherwise!

Even before the trip, I had months and months of queries and discussions with Mr Gyan Karki (the boss), and he amazed me with his prompt email replies (sometimes within minutes!), and willingness to tweak our itinerary to cater to our preferences. From pick-up to send-off, we felt well taken care of.

We chose a combination of rafting, trekking and jungle safari - which was a pretty good balance of activities during our two weeks there.
The accommodations chosen by the company were spot on - the one in Kathmandu for its super prime yet quiet location, and the one in Pokhara was a delightful haven with a lovely garden which we enjoyed many breakfasts!

Our key person - the ever calm and positive guide Bhuwan Karki ("Namaste Bhuwan... Miss dhal bat so much!")- was always ready to support and answer every question with an encyclopedic depth of knowledge about the people, culture, flora and fauna that we encountered. He had a tremendous rapport with all the people that we dealt with, from the teahouse owners to the drivers etc.

Even more importantly, when our kids suffered some tummy bugs during the trek, he patiently and wisely used his experience to enable us to complete the trek successfully....I guess when things go wrong in a foreign country is when you see the benefit of having good local knowledge and support.

In summary: You are going to have a good time in Nepal... and ATN will make it great!

My husband and I chose this company for both the Everest Base Camp trek via Gokyo Ri, and the Annapurna circuit via Tilcho lake. So pleased with our choice! Gyan, the owner of Adventure Treks, was so efficient with organising our perfect trip. He replied to our various email enquiries immediately and really helped us in our planning. What we really liked about Gyan was his flexibility, ensuring we could walk exactly where we wanted to go, on our own frame. This is unlike many of the companies which have very rigid itineraries. Gyan greeted us at the airport on our arrival to Kathmandu and checked in before and after each hike to make sure we were happy customers, and we totally were!! We were so impressed with our guide Sangam- not only was he friendly, and superbly knowledgable about the mountains and areas we were trekking, but also extremely safety conscious. We felt very safe in his hands on what is a potentially dangerous trek. Accomodation provided before and after the treks was clean and very comfortable. Adventure treks is superb value for money. We researched multiple companies prior to booking and Gyan came up on top. All in all our time in Nepal was perfect from start to finish. Thank you Adventure Treks for the trip of a lifetime :)
