Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu: A representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will be waiting outside the airport gates according to your time of arrival. Once you check in to the hotel you will have a briefing session about the trip. If you have any questions do let us know. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 02: Drive to last resort and back to Kathmandu (B,L): After breakfast in the hotel in Kathmandu we drive towards the Tibetan border northern from Kathmandu. We reach Last Resort where we will be doing Bungy jump. Jumping from a suspension bridge high above the fast flowing Bhotekoshi River is something that can bring butterflies in your stomach. After completing our first adventure sports we drive back to Kathmandu for overnight stay. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara with Rafting (B): Get your shorts and scandals ready for this day. Today we will be driving western from Kathmandu Valley to another beautiful city, Pokhara. On our way to Pokhara we will stop on the way and get on the raft for some white water rafting in Trishuli River. Spending about 3 hours in the river as we flow along with the high tides we finally end our Rafting in Kurintar from where we again get on the car to continue our drive to Pokhara. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 04: Paragliding and zip flying (B): Finally the day to fly over the beautiful Pokhara city has arrived. Firstly, we head to Sarangkot to take a paragliding flight followed by one of the longest Zip Line ride from Sarangkot to Hyangja. Experiencing these activities will be remembered for a long time for sure. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 05: Hiking to Sarangkot (B,L,D): After breakfast in hotel in Pokhara we head to experience some hiking around the Pokhara city. Nepal being famous for trekkers all around the globe, Our Nepal Adventure package with incomplete without some walking in the nature. We begin our hike from Pokhara towards Sarangkot which is all uphill climb adding extra flavor to your stay in Nepal. Overnight in Tea House.

Day 06: Fly Back to Kathmandu (B): Early in the morning we get to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan Range as Srangkot is one of the top five place to witness sunrise when in Nepal. We then return back to our Tea house to have our breakfast. We then drive to Pokhara airport for our flight to Kathmandu. On our way back we will again witness the series of white giants standing tall in the Northern part of Nation. Once we land in Kathmandu we will transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 07: Fly back home (B): According to your flight time, a representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will drop you to the airport. Return back home with memories that last life time.

If you are thinking about how to obtain Nepal visa, then the easiest way to obtain it is at the Tribhuwan International Airport upon your arrival in Nepal or else at the immigration entry point if you are entering through the border of India or Tibet.

Note: There are few countries namely Nigeria, Ghana, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Cameroon, Swaziland, Iraq, Ethiopia, Liberia, Palestine, etc. People from these countries do not get visa from the immigration entry points of Nepal.)

What do you need to obtain Nepal visa?

If you are thinking of taking visa at the airport or immigration entry point, following are your requirements:

* A valid passport (The passport should have validity of at least six months)
* You should fill the application form for visa available at airport or immigration entry points.
* Two passport size photos
* Visa fees which should be paid in cash.

Entry points to Nepal

* Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu.
* Eastern Nepal - Kakarvitta, Jhapa.
* Central Nepal - Birjung, Parsa.
* Northern Border - Kodari, Sindhupalchowk. (Now closed after earthquake).
* Northern Border - Kerung, Rasuwa.
* Western - Rupandehi (Belhiya, Bhairahawa).
* Mid-western - Banke (Jamuna, Nepalgunj).
* Far western - Kailali (Mohana, Dhangadhi) / Kanchanpur (Gaddachauki, Mahendranagar).

Visa Fees

* USD 30 or equivalent convertible currency for 15 days.
* USD 50 or equivalent convertible currency for 30 days.
* USD 125 or equivalent convertible currency for 90 days.
* For the tourist of SAARC nationals, free visa up to 30 days.
* Visa is not required for Indian nationals. However, if they enter Nepal via air, they will have to show a valid identification certificate (passport/ citizenship certificate). The children under the age of 10 do not need to show identification certificate.

Visa Extension

* Tourist visa extension is done for minimum 15 days with USD 45 and USD 3 per day for additional days.
* In the case of delay less than 150 days additional USD 5 per day as late fine.

Transit Visa

When a foreigner has to get down at Nepalese airport as a result of his/her transit point or due to any force landing for whatever the reason, the foreigner can obtain transit visa for a day after paying USD 5 or any other currency equivalent.

Other General Information

* Entering in to Nepal or staying in Nepal without a valid visa is illegal.
* Tourist visa can be obtained either through the Nepalese embassy or consulate or other mission offices in your nation or at the immigration entry points in Nepal listed above.
* Visa once issued cannot be amended and the visa fees are non-refundable.
* You should pay the Nepal visa fees in cash. Credit card or cheque are not acceptable.
* Visa charges are not applicable for children under 10 years of age, however, they must obtain a valid visa.
* If you are obtaining a new passport or travel document, you are advised to contact the Immigration Department for the document transfer.
* Always carry your passport and trekking permit while on trekking.
* Some of the areas are restricted for filming. Therefore, be careful not to do the activities that are strictly prohibited.
* The culture, tradition and sentiments of Nepalese people should be respected.
* Do not perform any activities that would hurt their sentiments.
