Chisapani hiking is one of the closest valley trekking from Kathmandu with splendid views of the Langtang Himalayan range as we spend a night in the teahouse. During this hiking we have the view of wonderful sunrise with the gigantic mountains facing us making every effort worthy. Chisapani hiking begins with a drive from your hotel towards Sundarijal where the Bagmati River flows with fresh water. Approximately 15 k.m away from Kathmandu, this area is highly influenced by Buddhism which resulted in display of Prayer Flags around the river.
Following the steps towards Shivapuri National Park, the entrance of the National Park is around an hour walk from Sundarijal. The trail then is mostly uphill where steps gradually climb up with well managed trails. As we move into the forest following the steps the sound of water flowing remains constantly in the background. Hiking up to Chisapani takes normally around 4-5 hours from Sundarijal because of which spending the night in Chisapani is recommended rather than to return on the same day to Kathmandu.
Next day we start our trekking after the Breakfast from Chisapani to Sanga hike via Jhuledanda/ Lapsiphedi.
